    TravelCenters Launches Dynamite Summer Promo

    Campaign includes nostalgic merchandise such as candy, beverages.

    WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of TA and Petro Stopping Centers branded travel centers, is revving into summer with its "Dyn-O-Mite Days of Summer" travel store promotion.

    The marketing campaign includes nostalgic merchandise, throwback pricing and a prize sweepstakes for UltraONE Driver Rewards Program members.

    Throughout the Dyn-O-Mite Days of Summer promotion, running through July and August, UltraONE professional driver and Expediter loyalty members can swipe their cards in participating TA and Petro travel stores with the purchase of specially marked nostalgic items to be entered into the UltraONE sweepstakes.

    Each week, two winners will be randomly chosen — one will win a Craig 3-in-1 Retro Bluetooth Media player, and the other will win 50,000 UltraONE Points. On Aug. 31, the final day of the promotion, all entries will be eligible to win the grand prize of 250,000 UltraONE Points.

    Participating TA and Petro locations will feature a wide variety of nostalgic items, including candy, beverages and other merchandise for the Dyn-O-Mite Days of Summer promo. Each Thursday during July and August, stores will feature special "Throwback Thursday" pricing on a variety of items.

    "This promotion is a great way to celebrate summer and to reward our UltraONE loyalty members with prizes to show our appreciation," said Rodney Bresnahan, senior vice president of store operations for TravelCenters. "Drivers will enjoy seeing many of the retro items we have in our stores and reminisce about having them when they were young."

    TravelCenters of America operates 255 full-service locations in 43 states and Canada.
