Something 'Twizted' HappeningTo New Twizzlers

Racecar driver Kevin Harvick helped Hershey Co. introduce its new Twizzlers "Twizted" Berry and Twizted Paradise Pull-n-Peel candy by driving a specially painted Twizted No. 21 Chevrolet car in Richmond, Va., last week.

The new product has multiple colors and flavors in each piece: Twizzlers Twizted Berry Pull-n-Peel contains strands of blue raspberry, berry cherry and berry grape; Twizzlers Twizted Paradise combines strawberry, punch and orange-flavored strands. Twizzlers Twizted is available in 2-ounce candy bar size packs for approximately 59 cents and in 11-ounce take-home bags for approximately $1.79.

"'Twizted' is a good word to describe what can happen on the track in any race, especially in Richmond," Harvick said.

The Hershey Co. is North America's largest manufacturer of confectionery products. With revenues of over $4 billion and more than 13,000 employees worldwide, Hershey markets such well-known brands as Hershey's, Reese's, Hershey's Kisses, Kit Kat, Almond Joy, Mounds, York, Jolly Rancher, Twizzlers and Ice Breakers. Hershey also offers a variety of snack products to consumers, including Hershey's Cookies, Mauna Loa macadamia nuts and Hershey's Snack Barz.
