Nabisco Oreo Thin Crisps Recalled

Nabisco Foods is recalling 4.86-ounce boxes of Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs Oreo Thin Crisps Baked Chocolate Wafer Snacks because some may contain milk, which is not listed as an ingredient. Nabisco said the Oreo boxes may actually contain individual bags of Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy! Thin Crisps Baked Chocolate Chip Snacks, which are made with milk.

The individual bags inside the boxes are properly labeled as Chips Ahoy! snacks, and milk is clearly listed as an ingredient on the individual bags. People who are allergic or have severe sensitivity to milk risk serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume the Chips Ahoy! crisps.

The recalled product bears a "Best When Used By" date of 04DEC05BD and was distributed to retail stores nationwide.

No illnesses or reactions have been reported. The company learned of the problem when Florida and North Carolina customers reported finding Chips Ahoy! snack bags inside boxes labeled as Oreo snacks. No other Oreo or Chips Ahoy! 100 Calorie Packs are part of the recall.
