Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps

With the better-for-you, healthy snacks category now being an important growth opportunity for convenience store operators, supplier Lil’ Drug Store Products (LDSP) and snack company Calbee North America have formed an exclusive partnership in the convenience channel for the Harvest Snaps snack line. Harvest Snaps are a crispy and light peapod-shape salty snack that has less fat and calories than potato chips with more fiber and protein, according to the companies. Harvest Snaps have rapidly grown with placement in the produce section of grocery stores, Walmart, Target and Costco, but the line has had limited distribution in the convenience channel until now. This new partnership with LDSP will expand convenience store availability of Harvest Snaps in a variety of flavors, including Lightly Salted, Wasabi Ranch and Caesar.
