    7-Eleven Debuts GO!Yum Line of Store-Brand Products

    Exclusive offerings focus on premium, indulgent items.

    DALLAS — 7-Eleven Inc. continues to add to its private-label offerings, this time taking aim at the snacks category with a new GO!Yum line of products available exclusively at the retailer's convenience stores.

    The new 7-Select GO!Yum Premium Popcorn comes in a variety of gluten-free flavors like Sriracha, Bacon Ranch and Jalapeno Cheddar, and has no preservatives.

    In addition, 7-Select GO!Yum Premium Ice Cream is available in several flavors such as Banana Cream Pie, Toasted S'mores and Double Cookie Dough,.

    The debut of the product line comes about four months after Sean Thompson, senior director of private brands for 7-Eleven, revealed that the convenience store giant was developing a 7-Select GO!Yum brand for premium, indulgent products. His comments came at the Store Brands 2015 Innovation & Marketing Summit, held Feb. 25–27 in Rosemont, Ill. Store Brands is a sister publication of Convenience Store News.

    The debut of GO!Yum comes on the heels of the launch of its other new private-label banner, 7-Select GO!Smart. This is 7-Eleven's first banner designated specifically for the better-for-you category.

    Dallas-based 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses 10,500 convenience stores in North America.
