    Strongbow Promotes Cider at Its Bestest

    New retail and on-premise program runs through April 30.

    WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — A new program from Strongbow Hard Cider encourages consumers to drink the beverage when it's at its best — served over ice. Dubbed "Cider at its Bestest," this is the brand’s latest retail and on-premise promotion designed to drive incremental retail sales.

    “I’m convinced that there’s nothing more delicious than the crisp, refreshing taste of Strongbow hard cider when it’s poured over ice,” said Alejandra de Obeso, brand director for Strongbow. “Enjoying any of our flavors on the rocks is the perfect way to kick off your evening plans or celebrate the end of a fulfilling day while you catch up with your group of closest friends."

    The "Cider at its Bestest” program runs through April 30 and includes targeted digital media, in-store displays and signage, shopper offers and brand engagement across its social media platforms.

    The cider category has grown 60 percent per year since 2010 and has added an incremental $200 million to retailers in the past two years, according to Strongbow, which is imported by Heineken USA.
