Rutter's Pumps Up Menu With High-End Coffee Drinks

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores has expanded its menu with high-end coffee drinks, including espresso drinks, frappes, iced lattes and fruit smoothies. The coffee bar has been added to the menu at two of Rutter's 57 stores, and will be expanded to more stores by the end of the year.

According to the company, each hot, iced or frozen espresso drink is freshly ground and brewed, and available in both regular and decaffeinated espresso beans. Customers can choose from 1 percent or whole milk. Customers can also choose from eight different syrups to add to their drink: French vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, toasted marshmallow, caramel apple, raspberry, sugar-free vanilla and sugar-free caramel. They also have the choice of three toppings: whipped cream, cocoa and cinnamon. In addition, customers can also choose to have dark chocolate, white chocolate or caramel sauce drizzled on top or added to the drink itself.

The hot coffee drinks come in three sizes and the iced drinks are available in two sizes. Both hot and cold drinks can be ordered using the store's kiosk ordering system and are prepared by a trained barista. The new fruit smoothies come in two sizes and four flavors: strawberry, strawberry-banana, wild berry and mango.

Rutter's Farm Stores is a third generation family-owned business operating 57 convenience stores in central Pennsylvania.
