Rutter's Gas Giveaways Continue
YORK, Pa. -- This week, Rutter's Farm Stores is awarding seven customers each with $100 in free gas as part of the company's Text-to-Win sweepstakes.
Customers enter by sending the text message, RUTTERS or RUTTERS2, to #30364. There is no cost to enter, but standard text-message rates from the entrant's cell-phone carrier may apply. Entrants must be 18 or older and a resident of Pennsylvania or Maryland.
The Text-to-Win contest, which ends this Sunday, is in addition to Rutter's Fuel Up Free! summer gas giveaway, which awards four customers with free gas for three years.
The chain recently announced that it presented its third grand-prize giveaway to Shrewsbury resident Chad Marsteller, who said he entered the contest four or five times during his morning stops for coffee at a Rutter’s store in his hometown. His prize has a value of $6,246.59, am amount he said he plans to share with friends and family.
Fuel Up Free!, which began May 28, runs through this Sunday. The last remaining grand-prize drawing is scheduled for Sept. 11. The first two winners were Mary Wherley of Wrightsville and Jennifer Anderson of Newberry Township, both in York County.
Family-owned and third generation-managed, York, Pa.-based Rutter's operates 51 convenience stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Franklin and Lancaster counties.
