Quick Chek Offers New Coffee Variety

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Chek added Sumatra Mandheling, a smooth, dark and full-bodied coffee that features a subtly complex mocha flavor, to the coffee offering at its convenience stores, the company stated.

Quick Chek's new single-origin coffee -- known for coming from one specific geographical region where elements such as climate, altitude and harvesting processes contribute to capturing the region's most unique coffee characteristics -- originates from the high mountain basin of Lake Toba, North Sumatra Province in Indonesia.

"Coffee beans from the Sumatran region produce some of the smoothest and most complex coffees in the world," Mandy Steindl-Kwiecien, Quick Chek's category manager, said in a statement. "We're excited to kick off the new year, bringing this special coffee experience to our thousands of customers."

Sumatra Mandheling is available at all Quick Chek locations now through Feb. 21. The retailer has more than 120 retail locations in New Jersey and southern New York.
