New company Original Sin Cider entered the cider market with the release of Original Sin Extra Dry Cider. Made in New York State, this cider is produced exclusively with 100 percent freshly-pressed New York apples and has a 5.5 percent ABV content. The beverage is made with Ida Red, MacIntosh, Jonagold and several russeted apples. With minimal residual sugar, Original Sin Extra Dry Cider is a drier, pub-style alternative in the market, according to the maker. The product will be available as a four-pack of 16-ounce cans for a suggested retail price of $10.49.
