Narragansett Porter

Narragansett Beer announced the return of its winter craft brew, Narragansett Porter, a brand staple since the early 1900s. The limited edition beer is an American-style porter made with chinook hops for bitterness, simcoe hops for aroma, black malt, pale malt, chocolate malt, munich malt, crystal malt, roasted barley, and ale yeast to create a mild chocolate flavor with a hint of smokiness and hops to balance out the finish, the company said. Narragansett Porter is 7% ABV and 28 IBUs. Available through February, Porter has expanded distribution to southern New York, North Carolina and Florida for the first time.
