ExxonMobil Celebrates Memphis Store Conversion

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- This month, ExxonMobil is celebrating the conversion of 40 Memphis-area Tigermarket convenience stores to its On the Run brand with special promotions, including a trip valued at $10,000.

"When you walk into an On the Run store, you'll notice a difference," Ben Soraci, U.S. retail sales director of ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing Co., said in a written statement. "We've worked hard to make our customers' experience pleasurable and convenient. The conversion of Tigermarkets in the Memphis area demonstrates our commitment to the On the Run brand and reflects the tremendous customer acceptance of the On the Run offering."

As part of the festivities, On the Run is holding an "Extreme Convenience Road Trip Giveaway," where one winner will receive a road trip valued at $10,000 to any destination in the U.S. The prize includes trip planning, hotel accommodations and ExxonMobil cash cards to cover the expenses on the trip.

Customers can enter to win the Extreme Convenience Road Trip at local On the Run stores or by registering online at http://extremeconvenience.com/. The winner will be announced June 4, the company stated.

Additional celebrations include brand visibility at the area's events including Memphis Redbird games, Memphis in May International Festival, the National Civil Rights Museum's Freedom Awards and Grace Magazine's 10th Anniversary Gala and Sisterhood Showcase, according to the company.

The On the Run stores offer a wide variety of brand name products and food offerings including Bengal Traders gourmet coffee and On the Run Cafe breakfast sandwiches. All sites feature inside ATMs as well.

Memphis-area locations that have been converted include 28 locations in Memphis; two locations in the Germantown area; two in Cordova; and one each in Collierville, Bartlett, Southaven, Miss., West Memphis, Ark., and Hornlake, Miss.
