Cumberland Farms Consolidates Executive Leadership at New Headquarters

FRAMINGHAM, MASS. -- Cumberland Farms and Gulf Oil have consolidated their corporate, convenience store, real estate and Gulf Oil LP subsidiary operations at a new headquarters campus here.

"The advantages of an efficient corporate integration, combined with a more focused and coordinated business development strategy, makes this move compelling," said Cumberland Farms CEO Joseph Petrowski. "This move helps our leaders best execute the Cumberland Farms and Gulf vision of becoming the premier brand of choice for the driving public."

This is the latest in a series of developments by the companies. Last month, Cumberland Farms opened a new flagship store focused on fresh food and hot coffee, and steeped in the company's "farm-family heritage," the companies’ management noted in a statement. In addition, Gulf Oil has several new programs out this year to further its branding and customer loyalty programs.

Cumberland Farms' network of retail stores, gas stations and support system, including petroleum and grocery distribution operations, spans 11 states across the Northeast and Florida, making it the largest convenience store and petroleum marketer in the Northeast. Gulf Oil LP is the fastest-growing brand in its marketplace with more than 2,500 locations, according to the companies.
