Circle K Arizona Rocks Promotions Around Music Festival

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Circle K Stores’ Arizona division lined up several beverage brands to help activate the chain's sponsorship of the seventh annual Circle K Tempe Music Festival, according to a report by the In-Store Marketing Institute.

Circle K stores across the state are promoting the regional music festival by offering ticket discounts in conjunction with the beverage brands co-sponsoring the April 3-4 event. Communicated on pump-toppers and cooler clings, the ticket specials include:

-- A buy one, get one free offer on general admission tickets with the purchase of an 18-pack of Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Budweiser, Bud Light or Michelob Ultra, or a 12-pack of Grupo Modelo's Corona.

-- $10 off the ticket price with the purchase of a 20-pack of Coca-Cola or Dr Pepper.

-- $5 off a ticket with the purchase of two Red Bull or Icelandic Glacial Water SKUs.

Shoppers bring store receipts to the festival's box office for redemption. Circle K's Arizona division serves as title sponsor for the annual rock music festival.

In addition, Circle K teamed up with fellow sponsor and Phoenix-based radio station Peak 98.7 FM to host a sweepstakes benefiting the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, the report stated. Shoppers who donate $1 at checkout receive an entry form for the contest, which awards backstage festival passes to five winners. One winner will be selected at the festival to win a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The contest runs through March 30.

Circle K parent, Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., operates roughly 3,350 company-owned and franchised Circle K stores in 33 U.S. states.
