Bawls Guarana Grows Distribution Network

MIAMI -- While marking its 12th anniversary, Hobarama LLC/BAWLS Guarana added three new partners to the brand’s growing distribution network. The new partners are part of an aggressive fourth-quarter push by the company, with more brand presence now in the Midwestern, Northeastern and Western U.S.

The following have recently joined the BAWLS Guarana distribution network:

-- California: Bay Area Distributing (Oakland)

-- Kentucky: LBH/Dr. Pepper Bottles (Western Kentucky)

-- New Jersey: JD Distributing (Northern New Jersey)

"After launching what was a class project of mine 12 years ago, I’m proud to announce BAWLS Guarana is still on the rise as one of the premium highly-caffeinated beverages on the market," founder and CEO Hoby Buppert said in a statement. "Our brand represents a very loyal, still-growing consumer base that demands a light and refreshing source of caffeine, and we plan on reaching new sales milestones as we head into 2009."

Buppert will ring in BAWLS Guarana’s 12th anniversary today, as Nov. 14 was declared "BAWLS Guarana Day" by Miami Mayor Manny Diaz.

First launched in November 1996, BAWLS Guarana’s growth in 2008 included the company’s release of BAWLS G33K B33R —the first-ever high-caffeine root beer spiked with guarana—and BAWLS Exxtra—a reformulation of the brand’s sugar-free offering that packs 50 percent more caffeine than the original flavor.
