And The Winners Are ...

For the fifth year in a row, Manitowoc Ice, Kolpak and Hobart were named best in their classes by foodservice equipment dealers, consultants, and broadline distributors.

Manitowoc Ice was voted best in class in the ice makers category and Kolpak in the walk-ins category as part of the 2005 Best in Class survey sponsored by Foodservice Equipment & Supplies publication. Both companies are part of the Manitowoc Foodservice Group, a Manitowoc, Wisc.-based manufacturer of ice machines, ice/beverage dispensers and commercial refrigeration equipment.

Troy, Ohio-based Hobart earned best in class for heavy and light food equipment, while its refrigeration brand, Traulsen, was voted best in class in a product category.

The annual Best in Class survey recognizes foodservice equipment manufacturers who best satisfy the needs of the dealers, consultants and broadline distributors that sell and specify the equipment on a regular basis.

In related news, High-Sabatino Associates of Jessup, Maryland is Eagle Foodservice Equipment "Rep Group of the Year." The annual award is given to the foodservice equipment rep organization that exhibits significant sales growth, along with demonstrating excellence in customer service, industry and equipment knowledge.
