7-Eleven, MiO Energy Form Super PAC With Judah Friedlander

LOS ANGELES -- The solution to America's energy woes won't come in the form of oil, gas or solar power; the real answer is MiO Energy, according to actor, comedian, self-proclaimed beverage expert and now presidential hopeful Judah Friedlander. The newest MiO fan commandeered three Los Angeles 7-Eleven stores on March 15 to spread his message.

Friedlander mingled with customers and addressed the nation's growing energy dependence -- a main issue in his "presidential platform" -- by distributing MiO Energy. The portable liquid water enhancer adds Vitamin B and 60 milligrams of caffeine per 8-ounce serving. MiO Energy is available in Black Cherry and Green Thunder flavors and contains 12, 18 or 24 servings per bottle.

"Energy is a major issue facing our nation. I need to let Americans know where I stand on this vital issue. Nobody cares more about the USA than me," Friedlander said. "What better way to do that than to hang out at 7-Eleven and talk with real people and throw my support to MiO Energy. And I know what I'm talking about. I have two Ph.D.s in energy and three Ph.D.s in beverages. I've dedicated my entire life to studying energy drinks."

As a follow-up, for every 15,000 foursquare check-ins at U.S. 7-Eleven stores, fans can unlock a YouTube video and special MiO Energy coupon at MiO's Facebook page.

"MiO Energy is not your typical energy drink, so for the launch, we teamed up with the most unconventional presidential hopeful to ever throw his hat into the ring," said Sam Garfinkel, senior associate brand manager of MiO.
