The partnership is a new one for PriceAdvantage, a division of Skyline Products and a provider of retail fuel pricing solutions for the industry, and AutoGas, which offers software solutions. Now, PriceAdvantage receives daily surveys from store managers and then sends those price proposals for approval. Once approved, PriceAdvantage synchronizes with the AutoGas POS (point-of-sale) system and AutoGas Fuel Controller to ensure that fuel prices are updated from the store to the street.
According to the companies, by integrating PriceAdvantage with AutoGas POS and AutoGas Fuel Controller, gas station owners can cut down their pricing process by three hours a day and change prices two to three times daily.
"This partnership will enable our customers to be more efficient and timely with their fuel price changes," said Aaron McHugh, head of the PriceAdvantage division. "And we're thrilled to be working with such an innovative company as AutoGas."
Tim Yost, vice president of Retail Solutions at AutoGas, said he is excited about the partnership because it advances seamless technology from the point-of-sale to the pump.
