The Pinnacle Corp. Hires Senior Solutions Engineer Specialist
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Lonnie Buerge joined Pinnacle Corp. as senior solutions engineer specialist for Pinnacle's Wholesale and Retail Fuel Solutions. In this newly formed role, Buerge will work closely with the Pinnacle sales team and petroleum wholesalers and retailers, and will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and unearthing opportunities to improve business performance across the petroleum distribution enterprise, the company reported.
"I'm excited to advance my decades-long commitment to streamlining petroleum marketers' operations, by joining ranks with the Pinnacle Team," Buerge said in a released statement. "Their passion to drive automation to further heights in this market aligns with my own desire to see petroleum marketers improve their performance by improving their use of technology."
Buerge brings to Pinnacle more than 25 years of leadership in applying technology to the whole range of downstream petroleum industry challenges. Building on his early experience as CFO of a large regional petroleum distributor, as well as common carrier and convenience store operation, he has consulted for a wide cross section of petroleum marketers, improving their performance in procurement, transportation, hedge management, accounting, customer service, motor fuel taxes, data logistics, strategic planning and execution. He also served in various leadership roles on the PIDEX Motor Fuels Standards Committee (Distributors and Retailers Task Group) for several years during its early formation.
