Phillips 66, 76 and Conoco Branded Fuels Award Gas for Life

HOUSTON -- Phillips 66, 76, and Conoco gas station chains have awarded a California resident gas for life as the result of a summer promo which ran in more than 50 markets during June and July.

Maria Brown from Glendale, Calif., won gas for life by filling up with TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline at a 76 gas station this summer. Brown was one of 240,000 customers who participated in the Gas for Life promotion from the Phillips 66 Co.

"With gas prices on the rise, I'm grateful to 76 for this gift that will help me and my family for many years to come," Brown said. "Every time I fill up at a 76 station, I know I'm getting the highest quality gas for my car as well as a great customer experience."

For the sixth year in a row, the Phillips 66 Co. held an annual sweepstakes at more than 3,500 participating Phillips 66, 76, and Conoco gas stations. Drivers who filled up with 10 gallons or more of high performance gasoline at participating stations received a game card with a promotional code. By entering the code online, drivers had a chance to win prizes including 6,000 $20 gas cards, 24 chances for free gas for one year, and the grand prize of free gas for life.

"While we take pride in providing our patrons TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline, the most important thing in the car is the person behind the wheel," said Tami Walker, manager, U.S. Fuels Brand Management for Phillips 66, 76 and Conoco. "We're committed to always being on the driver's side, so it gives us great pleasure to give our loyal customers, like Maria, several great prizes to make their lives a little easier."

The Phillips 66 Co. will host a celebration in Brown's honor on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the 76 Express Service Center Pacific in Glendale (1000 N. Pacific Ave.) where she received the winning game card. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive $100 gas cards and family four-packs of local theme park tickets.
