AUSTIN, Texas -- PerformanceRetail, provider of Web-based merchandising and store-operations software for the retail industry, and Cybera Inc., which delivers fully managed broadband networks for retail, have entered into a co-marketing alliance to provide dedicated networks and applications to the retail industry. This alliance will enable retailers to more quickly drive improved profitability and efficiencies in key store processes as they implement broadband connectivity and Web-based merchandising and store-operations solutions.
Cybera's SmartNetwork provides the bandwidth to enable multiple enterprise applications to retail and other industries traditionally underserved by large telecommunications companies.
PerformanceRetail's InSite solution automates key retail functions through a modular suite of Web-based merchandising, business intelligence, field operations, store operations, fuel management and retail financial applications. Offered as a hosted suite of software and services, InSite's on-demand capabilities enable retailers to adopt the applications they need as they need them, simplifying implementation, speeding time-to-value and reducing risk.
MAPCO Express, operator of more than 340 convenience retail stores and a client of PerformanceRetail and Cybera, is one of the first to benefit from the alliance.
