    Henny Penny makes organizational changes; Khimetrics hires new vice president of business development.

    Henny Penny Corp., which sells foodservice equipment appointed Rob Connelly vice president of marketing. Connelly joins Henny Penny after spending the last 21 years with VeriFone Inc.

    At Henny Penny, he will oversee marketing, customer service and technical support. Connelly graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a concentration in marketing.

    Henny Penny has also had a number of other organizational changes: Joel Guthrie has been promoted to director of operations, overseeing manufacturing, manufacturing systems and facilities. Todd Hennigan, technical services supervisor for six years, has been promoted to technical support manager. Jeff Kincer has been promoted to vice president of engineering, and Steve Maggard has been promoted to vice president of strategic accounts. Additionally, David Norris has been promoted to manager of manufacturing, engineering and lean.

    According to Steve Cobb, president and CEO, “These promotions, other changes and our addition of Rob Connelly have created a new and better positioned organizational chart. As our market landscape and business requirements continue to evolve, we have to constantly evaluate our need for change.”

    In other people news, Thomas Redd joined Khimetrics Inc. as vice president of business development. Redd brings more than 24 years of experience in senior sales and marketing roles. He is responsible for all the company's strategic business development and alliance management.
    Just prior to joining Khimetrics, Redd was executive vice president of sales and marketing for Talkingpoint, a consumer interactive solutions company, where he was responsible for developing and integrating the sales, marketing and alliance operations within the company. He has served in similar leadership roles for Oracle, SAP Retail, Silvon Software and Reflexis.

    Redd said, "Khimetrics is in a great position for continued growth with the maturing of its products and the proven ability to deliver value to its customers. Now is the ideal time to grow and nurture strong relationships that add greater value for our customers and partners."
    Finally, Gray Cat Enterprises' John Matthews was named to the board of directors at FB Johnston Graphics based in Chapin, S.C., one of the top specialty-graphics companies in the United States, providing design, printing, fulfillment, installation, inventory management services and on-site management support to original equipment manufacturers and point-of-purchase retailers. Its customers include BP Amoco, KFC, Motorola, Honda and Burger King.
