BUFFALO, N.Y.--Wilson Farms Inc. welcomes four executives as part of their new corporate leadership team. Joining Wilson Farms at the company's headquarters in Williamsville, N.Y., are Nick Gallegos, vice president of sales and marketing; Donald Crimmen, director of human resources; Lou Terragnoli, vice president of real estate and construction, and Fran Davis, director of POS and operations support.
"We are fortunate to have these four individuals, some of the most highly regarded and well respected executives in their fields, join our team," said Wilson Farms President and CEO Paul Nanula. "The four new hires bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to Wilson Farms. We will use their superior expertise to help Wilson Farms continue to grow and increase our store presence in Buffalo and across New York State."
Gallegos joins Wilson Farms after 37 years in the retail grocery industry, where he held a wide range of positions at national and regional chains such as Kmart Corp., Tops Markets Inc. and Safeway Stores Inc. Throughout his career, Gallegos gained extensive experience in category management, pricing, merchandising, store operations, procurement and supply chain management. Most recently, Gallegos was the director of retail pricing services at Unified Western Grocers Inc. in Commerce, Calif.
Crimmen brings "a wealth of knowledge" in human resources, business management and banking from his more than 20 years experience in the industries, the company said. He has a high level of knowledge in organizational structure and operations management with retail and corporate clients. Crimmen also more than 15 years in the banking industry, where he helped found Empire Realty and worked at Empire FSB and HSBC. Before joining Wilson Farms, Crimmen was the president and owner of DJC Consulting, where he supported clients with business development, strategic execution and organizational programs.
Terragnoli is a 44-year veteran in the real estate and construction industries, which includes 35 years with Tops Markets Inc. Most recently, he was the president of his own consulting firm, Lou Terragnoli and Associates. During his career, Terragnoli has successfully advised clients in construction management, procurement, systems, engineering and design and maintenance management. He has provided support to national clients including Tops Markets Inc, Advance Auto Parts Inc., La Nova Companies, Supermarket Management Inc., Upstate Farms Cooperative and Dash's Markets.
Davis has more than 25 years experience in the retail and wholesale industry with companies such as Tops Markets Inc., Peter J. Schmitt Co. and Target. She is an experienced manager with a successful history and proven track record in motivating staff, managing associates and executing performance objectives, the company said. Most recently, she was a store team leader at Target, where she was responsible for managing 200 employees, inventory control, sales floor presentation, human relations and guest services.
In supplier news, Martin Gafinowitz was appointed president of Gilbarco Inc. and now has global leadership responsibility for the company. Gafinowitz was previously president of Gilbarco North America and Global Strategy. In this role he had responsibility for Gilbarco’s North American business in addition to his global leadership for point of sale systems and service station equipment.
Prior to Gafinowitz joining Gilbarco, he was vice president and general manager of Veeder-Root. Since joining Veeder-Root in 1991, Gafinowitz has held positions in sales, marketing and general management with responsibility for Europe, Asia and North America.
