Pastor Takes Lead as CEO at MACS

RICHMOND, Va. -- Dan Pastor is taking the baton from Steven Uphoff as new chief executive officer at Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores (MACS). Uphoff will keep ties to the company as a member of the board of directors and advisor to the convenience store chain.

Before coming to MACS, Pastor served as vice president of fuels and convenience for Giant Eagle, which included responsibilities of GetGO from Giant Eagle, WetGO and the Giant Eagle Express brands until 2010. He also had a seat on the executive committee and the executive real estate committee at Giant Eagle.

His resume also includes a turn as vice president/chief operating officer at Crossroads Convenience LLC and various positions at Guttman Oil Co. In addition, Pastor has been active in the industry, serving NACS, Kraft and most recently as chair of the Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association and Pennsylvania Convenience Store Council.
