The Pantry's SVP of Operations Exits Company

CARY, N.C. -- The Pantry's management team will be seeing a change now that Brad Williams has stepped down from his role as senior vice president of operations, effective immediately.

The Southeast convenience store operator is in the process of looking for a replacement. Until one is named, the operations department will temporarily report to President and CEO Terry Marks.

Williams joined The Pantry in 1988, taking on his current title in 2008. During his time with the company, he held several leadership roles within store operations. He was responsible for 260 company-operated c-stores and 63 company-operated quick-service restaurants as the regional vice president of operations. He moved up the ladder to group vice president of operations, taking responsibility for 848 company-operated stores and 126 company-operated QSRs in seven states.

Before landing at The Pantry, Williams held positions at E-Z Serve Convenience Stores Inc. and ConocoPhillips.

"During his 13-year tenure, Mr. Williams has made many important contributions to the company, including his role in driving a fast, friendly and clean experience for our guests," the company said in a statement. "The company appreciates Mr. Williams' dedication and hard work over the years and wishes him the best in his new endeavors."
