Nouria Energy to Acquire Lampron Energy

SHREWSBURY, Mass. -- Nouria Energy, fuel supplier and operator of more than 40 convenience stores in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, will acquire Maine-based Lampron Energy, a 20-unit convenience chain that also supplies home heating oil products to more than 5,000 customers, the company stated.

"We are really excited about the addition of Lampron to the Nouria Energy family," Nouria Energy founder and president, Tony El Nemr, said in a statement. "Our plans are to take the best that both companies have to offer -- friendly, knowledgeable employees, innovative retail products, responsive customer service, highly respected brands -- and leverage those considerable assets to continue to grow and reach new customers throughout New England and beyond."

The addition of Lampron's seven company-operated and 13 owner-operated stations brings Nouria's store count of owned- or supplied-stations to 65 across three states, which will be supplied with Shell, Gulf or Lampron Energy brands, the company stated.

The acquisition also adds two business segments to Nouria's business portfolio -- residential and commercial home heating customers.
