King David Dogs Introduces C-store Franchising Opportunity

    Partnering with CZ Growth Strategies.

INDIANAPOLIS — Convenience stores and travel plazas across the country could see King David Dogs at their foodservice offerings.

King David Dogs is partnering with Indianapolis-based franchisor CZ Growth Strategies to offer its Signature King David Dogs in a proprietary, stand-alone unit that will house the equipment needed to prepare and serve the quarter-pound, all-beef, gourmet grilled hot dogs to c-stores and travel plazas.

The unit is designed to fit easily as part of any floor plan, and the set-up includes space featuring a variety of flavorful toppings.

"We are pleased and delighted to join with Brent Joseph of the Hene family and King David Dogs in a partnership that will enable us to offer the Signature King David all-beef, kosher-style gourmet hot dogs — made with the highest quality meats and cooked perfectly — in convenience stores and travel plazas across the country," said Allan Zukerman, chairman, CZ Growth Strategies.

Created by brothers Paul and William Hene, founders of the Hene Meat Co., King David Dogs were once sold in grocery stores and delis throughout Indianapolis until the early 1990's. They were recently reintroduced by Brent Joseph, grandson of co-founder William Hene.

King David Dogs has two locations in Indianapolis, one downtown and a second at Indianapolis International Airport.
