    VP Launches FASTLUBE to Complement Branded Stations

    Program offers savings on bulk oils for higher profits.

    SAN ANTONIO — VP Racing Fuels Inc. launched VP FASTLUBE, a quick lube concept that will complement VP's growing retail branding program for gas stations and convenience stores.

    While stand-alone facilities are the primary focus of VP's FASTLUBE program, others will be incorporated in VP-branded stations, according to OneDirt.com.

    Through a long-term trademark license agreement, Maverick Performance Products LLC will service VP FASTLUBE facilities with both bulk and packaged VP-branded lubricants, as well as market, manufacture and sell VP-branded lubricants in the United States, Canada and Mexico. VP also introduced VP Racing and Hi-Performance Lubricants to the market.

    "Following our successful rollout of VP Racing Fuels-branded gas stations, introduction of VP Lubricants and Maverick license agreement, the VP FASTLUBE program emerged as a natural extension and allows us to tap into the $14 billion quick lube market," said VP Racing Fuels Chief Marketing Officer Chris Wall.

    "Like our retail branding program, VP FASTLUBE offers an attractive image, a credit card program with one of the lowest rates in the industry and a preferred supplier program, as well as substantial savings on bulk oils for higher profits. FASTLUBE licensees will benefit from VP's brand recognition among performance enthusiasts and the increasing brand awareness generated by VP branded gas stations," he added.

    San Antonio-based VP Racing Fuels’ retail branding program enables gas stations and convenience stores to reduce their credit card processing expenses and lower their cost of supply, as well as increase revenues with new profit centers built on VP-branded products, all while gaining more control over their business, stated the company.
