POWELL, Tenn. -- Weigel's Stores Inc. is tossing its hat into the ring regarding gas discount cards. Now available at all of the convenience store retailer’s locations, Weigel's Club Card allows customers to save up to 10 cents per gallon, with no purchase necessary.
Starting today, gas prices exclusive to Club Card holders are posted on pole signs at most of Weigel’s locations. Members of Weigel's current Rewards Card program can convert their existing cards to Club Cards.
In addition, Weigel's Pump Start Rewards Cards, which allow customers to save time at the pump and pay inside when they are ready, must be exchanged for new Club Cards in order to activate the preferred payment discount. Rewards Card milk redemptions will not be affected, the c-store operator noted.
"We like to stay ahead of the curve and be the first to offer our customers innovative products and services," said Bill Weigel, chairman and CEO. "The Club Card will be convenient and easy to use and will help families save money on gas. This is our way of thanking our customers for their business."
Customers are encouraged to visit a Weigel's store, go online at www.Weigels.com or call (865) 938-2042 for more information or to apply for the new Club Card.
