CST Brands Subsidiary Takes Brink's to Court

Lawsuit alleges chain was billed for cash pickups not part of its contract.

SAN ANTONIO — CST Services, a subsidiary of CST Brands Inc. that operates the Corner Store convenience store chain, has sued Brink's U.S., a Brink's company, for fraud.

The San Antonio Express-News reported that in a lawsuit filed in Bexar County District Court, CST Services alleged that it discovered Brink's U.S. billed the company for cash pickups at multiple Corner Store locations that were not part of a contract that the companies executed in April 2015.

CST stated that it paid nearly $206,000 in erroneous charges to Brink's, and that Brink's refuses to return the money.

San Antonio-based CST Brands operates approximately 2,000 locations throughout the southwestern United States, Georgia, Florida, New York and eastern Canada.
