SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Even though the electronic cigarette segment has evolved into the rechargeable arena, disposables are still drawing customers.
Citing the latest IRI FDMxC (all channel) data, NJOY said its latest product, the NJOY Daily disposable e-cigarette, is currently the fastest-turning new e-vapor product. The data indicates that NJOY Daily is attracting adult smokers looking for an introductory vapor product.
According to the IRI data, NJOY Daily's three SKUs moved more than 37,000 units in the single week ending Feb. 21. This amounts to 23-percent greater unit sales per week when compared to Logic Technology Development's Logic Pro, and 281-percent greater unit sales per week than Pax Labs Inc.'s Juul, the company highlighted.
NJOY attributes Daily's early success to the product's accessible price point, as well as its ability to create a bridge to familiarity for adult smokers through its design and nicotine absorption.
The Scottsdale-based electronic cigarette manufacturer also pointed to its retail partners and its ability to leverage promotional support, merchandising, signage and marketing assets to drive trial among adult smokers.
