    Sunoco APlus, McLane Renew Multi-Year Distribution Pact

    Foodservice offering is a key focus of the extension.

    TEMPLE, Texas — Sunoco APlus and McLane Co. Inc. have renewed their multi-year service agreement. With the support of McLane, the convenience store chain will continue to focus on frequency, commissary distribution and its overall foodservice offering.

    "A main driver in continuing our relationship with McLane is our shared commitment to work hand-in-hand to provide a growing assortment of fresh foods to our customers. We are very impressed by the flexibility and capability McLane has shown in helping us to enhance our product assortment and increase our ability to deliver fresh foods to our stores," stated Cynthia Archer, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Sunoco. "Together with McLane, we will be able to build on our strong fresh program across our APlus chain, all while continuing to count on McLane for innovation, outstanding service levels and excellent overall performance."  

    Sunoco has been a McLane customer since 1992.

    Sunoco APlus has more than 430 corporate stores and 237 franchise stores operating in 14 states.
