ST CLOUD, Minn. — In an effort to centralize fuel pricing decisions for its 35 Holiday and Little Duke's fuel and convenience locations, Coborn's Inc. has deployed a cloud-based solution by Kalibrate.
Using current market data that reflects the "complexities, dynamics and realities of the fuel retail environment," Kalibrate Pricing Cloud analytics enable the Coborn’s pricing team to optimize results defined by corporate strategy, while also accounting for local market conditions and site-specific characteristics, the company said.
Additionally, Kalibrate Survey enables Coborn's store managers in the field to record competitor fuel prices using a smartphone.
“Kalibrate helps us operate and perform in a way that aligns with two of our corporate values: executional excellence and innovation,” said Dave Meyer, vice president of operations at Coborn’s. “We take risks, make advances and learn from the outcomes. That’s the continuous learning mindset we see in Kalibrate, too.”
Coborn’s operates 54 grocery stories, 19 Little Duke's and 15 Holiday convenience stores, along with a number of video stores, liquor stores and pharmacies.
