    Market Street Introduces New Loyalty Program

    Offers customized shopping experience, rewards

    The United Family's Market Street banner has introduced a new loyalty program with an enhanced mobile application at its seven stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

    The program, which replaces the grocer's previous "Smart Rewards," features purchase recommendations, product coupons and free offers tailored to each customer's shopping habits, as well as access to deals, coupons, promotions and sweepstakes.  

    The new iPhone app also offers customers the ability to update profiles for a customized experience, view and share shopping lists, as well as add Market Street recipes and coupons from the grocer's weekly ad, the company said.

    “[The program] offers Market Street guests a unique opportunity to have a say in which coupons, discounts and rewards they receive,” said Robin Cash, loyalty marketing manager for The United Family. “These changes allow us to offer guests more of what they want and use, improving the overall shopping experience by saving time and money.”

    Available to customers of Market Street's Allen, Colleyville, Coppell, Flower Mound, Frisco, McKinney and Plano locations, the program has enrolled more than 167,000 members who have until May 20 to redeem existing loyalty points from the “Smart Rewards” program.

    A wholly-owned subsidiary of Albertson's LLC, The Untied Family operates 60 stores under the banners of United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos and United Express.
