LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Kwik Trip Inc. added TRANSFLO Express truck stop scanning to 11 more of its locations. The Midwest convenience store chain now offers this service at 13 sites.
TRANSFLO Express, manufactured by Tampa, Fla.-based Pegasus TransTech Corp., allows drivers to hand their trip documents to a trained cashier at the fuel counter for scanning. According to Pegasus TransTech, the documents are then sent electronically to a fleet or third-party logistics provider within seconds for immediate billing and payroll processing.
“One of our core values is innovation,” said Steve Wrobel, a spokesperson for Kwik Trip. “Whether it is with our food preparation or with how we serve our diesel customers, innovation is the driving force for doing whatever we can do to attract more customers and serve them in a better way.”
Kwik Trip has offered the TRANSFLO Express service in Tomah, Wis., and Black River Falls, Wis., since May. Among the new stores being added to this program are seven in Wisconsin, three in Minnesota and one in Iowa.
"We welcome the new Kwik Trip locations into the TRANSFLO network and look forward to continued success helping fleets and drivers speed the billing process and getting paid faster,” said Frank Adelman, president and CEO of Pegasus TransTech.
