SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes has put one lucky customer in the driver's seat of a new car.
The Syracuse-based convenience store chain awarded a 2013 Kia Soul to Gary Dillon of Westmoreland, N.Y. Dillon's name was drawn on Aug. 25 from 50 qualifiers at the Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes' Summer with Soul Promotion Grand Finale held at NBT Bank Stadium in Syracuse.
Dillon registered for the Summer with Soul Promotion by purchasing a Pepsi fountain drink and entering his unique cup code online. Fifty qualifiers were randomly chosen from all registrants. The qualifiers and a guest were invited to the Grand Finale Party, during which three lucky finalists were chosen, according to the retailer.
The runner-up winners were Tamara Serrao of Syracuse, who won an Apple iPad, and Matt Downs of Bridgeport, N.Y., who won a Vizio 42-inch high-definition television.
"We are happy to have so many qualifiers join us for a day of baseball and excitement," said John MacDougall, president and CEO of Nice N Easy. "This has been a great summer and we thank everyone who participated in our Summer with Soul Promotion."
Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes partnered with Pepsi Fountain and Kia of East Syracuse for the promotion.
