    NACS' THE Tech EVENT Goes Mobile

    New app allows attendees to set up schedules, view real-time alerts and more.

    ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- NACS, the Association for Convenience & Fuel Retailing, launched a new mobile application (app) specifically for its THE Tech EVENT, which will take place from May 6-10 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas.

    The app is intended to help attendees easily navigate the event and is compatible with most smartphone and tablet devices.

    This marks the first year of THE Tech EVENT, which combines the former NACStech and PCATS Winter Meeting conferences. The trade show will deliver technology education, information and solutions on topics including "Big Data," HTML5, data security, mobile payments and the future of technology innovation.

    THE Tech EVENT also features the Supplier Exchange, where convenience store retailers can connect with technology solution providers in a "casual and more flexible setting."

    The app allows attendees to organize their schedules by adding sessions and events, locate Supplier Exchange participants, receive real-time alerts, search event speaker bios and connect with peers through the "Attendees" feature.

    To download the mobile app, retailers can search for "THE Tech EVENT" in the App Store or Google Play.
