GREENSBORO, N.C. -- After a month of operation, Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Murphy Oil USA praised the success of a new program to manage fueling system maintenance at all Murphy Oil USA locations, for all equipment brands.
"Having a reliable, single source for fueling equipment maintenance will help us control service and administrative overhead costs as well as measure contractor efficiency and performance," Tommy Seabolt, Murphy Oil USA regional maintenance manager, said in a released statement.
Sanjay Chowbey, vice president of service at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, explained in February, Gilbarco and Murphy Oil USA implemented system integration between their two support center systems, enabling all dispatch data and service updates to be exchanged electronically. This approach allows Gilbarco to track key performance indicators while providing regular reports to Murphy Oil USA.
"Gilbarco is able to use our extensive technical expertise, comprehensive service network, 24/7 support center and state-of-the-art maintenance management system to efficiently provide equipment maintenance and remote support services to our retail fueling customers," Chowbey said in a released statement.
