More Rutter's Customers Win Free Gasoline for a Year

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter’s Farm Stores' gas giveaway is in its final weeks, but customers are still getting some mileage out of it.

The Pennsylvania c-store operator announced the fifth and sixth winners of free gasoline for one year: April Bortner of York and Jean Leber of Red Lion. The previous winners were Lowell Sipe of Red Lion; Brandi Cook of Fayetteville; Deb Rohrbaugh of Dallastown and Schirl Warner of Windsor.

Rutter’s "Fuel Up Free!" promotion runs through Aug. 30, offering customers two more chances to win free gas for one year, and the opportunity to win a Harley-Davidson Iron 883 motorcycle.

Eight customers will receive free gas for one year as part of the contest, which began May 25. A ninth customer will win the Harley, courtesy of Rutter’s and hot dog maker Kunzler & Co. Each of the winners is chosen through a random drawing.

With each purchase of a Rutter's monthly food and beveragespecial, a customer receives an entry blank. The more specials customers purchase, the more chances they have to win.

Participating sponsors include Pepsi Cola, Coca-Cola, Cadbury Canada Dry, Function Beverage, Snapple, Red Bull, Edy’s Grand Ice Cream, Jack and Jill Ice Cream, Nestle Waters NA, Pennsylvania Lottery, Kunzler & Co., S&D Coffee and Rutter’s Dairy.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Pennsylvania or Maryland at the time of entry. No purchase is necessary to participate. Official giveaway rules are available at all Rutter’s stores and at www.rutters.com.

Family-owned and third generation-managed, Rutter’s Farm Stores operates 56 convenience stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Lancaster counties.
