Money Controls Ltd. is unveiling Tulip, a new money packaging system designed to reduce cash shrinkage and decrease operating costs for retailers. Tulip is a simple and secure note acceptor, which identifies and stacks currency in a "sandwich-box" style disposable container. It provides sealed, one-way transportation of notes from the point of sale to the count-center with full audit ability and no need for back-office counting. Information about each bill and its transaction history is written onto a reusable RFID card. Tulip claims to be the first product on the market to allow complete visibility of cash at any point in the cash-handling chain.
