Miller Lite Aluminum Pint

Miller Lite introduced a new 16-ounce package that’s both a can and bottle, intended for off-premise retailers, focusing on convenience stores. The aluminum pint bottle has a wider opening for smoother flow, while the aluminum cools like a can and the re-sealable closure helps lock in freshness, according to the company. The Miller Lite aluminum pint was designed by Broomfield, Colo.-based Ball Corp., and will be sold as part of a nine-pack. MillerCoors will support the package with television, radio, out-of-home and online advertising, as well as retail point-of-sale and merchandising materials, the company stated. The Miller Lite aluminum pint will be tested throughout the Midwest and South through the end of the year, and test markets include Alabama, Arkansas, Dallas, Florida, Houston, parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia and parts of Wisconsin, the company stated.
