Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores Chooses GSP to Manage POP

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- GSP entered into an agreement with Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores (MACS) to provide point-of-purchase (POP) management services to all of the company’s c-stores. Services and solutions will include POP engineering, print, fabrication and fulfillment services, local account support, logistics and budget management, and store-specific POP placement guides.

"MACS is positioned for growth and GSP, with their extensive knowledge of the retail industry and comprehensive POP capabilities, is the chosen retail solutions provider to assist us in that growth," said Derek Gaskins, MACS’ senior vice president of marketing. "We evaluated several different suppliers and made our decision based on GSP's G7 Master Printer status, their commitment to the environment and their ability to provide a full spectrum of cost-effective POP management services and solutions."

Both MACS and GSP are focused on minimizing various POP elements' environmental impacts, according to the announcement.

"We will help MACS ensure maximum POP effectiveness at each of their store locations," said Kevin Farley, vice president of marketing for GSP. "We will also leverage site profile information to print only what is required at each store and nothing more, resulting in a 20- to 30-percent savings by not overproducing printed elements that end up wasted at the store. We take great pride in the work we do with our retailer partners, and we're happy to have MACS as a valued GSP customer."

MACS operates approximately 300 locations in Maryland and Virginia.
