Meijer Extends Summer Fuel Savings Through Holiday Season

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Meijer will continue its summertime fuel savings program through the holidays, providing its credit card customers with a 10-cent-per-gallon discount on fuel for the upcoming holiday travel season.

The discount program, available at all 180 Meijer gas stations, will run through Jan. 5.

"Meijer is always looking for ways to save our customers money, especially during the holiday season," said Brian Horsford, the company's director of gas stations. "Gasoline prices have a major impact on family budgets, so we are pleased to extend this savings opportunity to all Meijer credit card holders in time for their busy holiday travels."

Meijer credit card holders receive a 5-cent-per-gallon savings at Meijer gas stations year-round. No coupons are needed, nor is there a need to make a purchase inside the store to receive the discount. No minimum fuel purchase is required either, according to the supercenter and grocery store operator.

Meijer currently operates 199 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
