Meijer Credit Card Holders to Receive Gas Discount
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Meijer consumer credit cards holders frustrated by escalating gas prices will experience relief starting June 1, when the company will cut prices by 10 cents per gallon at it stations.
The program, "Meijer Gives Back," will run through Labor Day at Meijer gas station and C-Stops. All grades of gasoline, as well as diesel, E85 ethanol and biodiesel are included in the promotion. There is no minimum requirement and savings are immediately reflected on the gas pump total.
"All of us have felt the effects of constantly rising prices at the gas pump. As gas has taken a bigger bite out of household budgets, we wanted to introduce a program that helps ease the burden, especially during this time of year when vacations and other family trips are so common," Brian Horsford, director of gas stations for Meijer, said in a released statement.
The Meijer consumer credit card requires no annual fee. The 10 cents per gallon discount applies to both the Meijer store card and the Meijer Platinum MasterCard. Customers can apply for the Meijer consumer credit card at any Meijer store or at www.meijer.com.
