    Marsh Targets Younger Consumers

    Convenience store and supermarket operator updates Web site for Kids Club members.

    INDIANAPOLIS --Marsh Supermarkets Inc., operator of 193 Village Pantry convenience stores, has upgraded a special Web site for school-age members of its Kids Club, to present a host of new Web pages loaded with educational information and interactive games. "We are excited to offer this upgraded Web site to our Kids Club members," said Don E. Marsh, Chairman, President and CEO. "We look forward to having children interact, play on and learn from the new pages, then tell us what they think." Fielding the Mouse, the official Marsh mascot, is featured in many of the new pages. In addition to interactive games, the site features Fielding's stories, the "treat of the week," and store layout maps youngsters can use to find their favorite products. It also includes educational information such as fire safety, health tips and recipes that members can prepare with their family. During December, visitors to the Web site, www.marsh.net/kid/homewf.html, can also enter online to win Harry Potter movie passes. One winner will be selected daily.
