MACS Appoints New Senior VP of Merchandising

RICHMOND, Va. – Liza Salaria is joining Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores (MACS) as its new senior vice president of merchandising. She will be responsible for leading merchandising and marketing strategy to achieve sales and gross profit goals.

Richmond, Va.-based MACS maintains a network of approximately 300 company-owned and dealer locations. Along with its wholesale fuel distribution network, MACS is the exclusive developer for the Circle K brand in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Salaria previously held the position of senior director of merchandising for Giant Eagle's GetGo convenience store division. Prior to that, she served as director of bakery/deli merchandising and operations for Fleming Food.

"Liza has demonstrated her ability to think strategically about merchandising for accomplishing business objectives," stated MACS CEO Dan Pastor, who also worked for Giant Eagle GetGo. "We are thrilled to welcome her to the MACS team, and anticipate world-class programs and execution from her expertise."

Salaria earned an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
