Lucky Wisconsin Retailer Going Down in History

FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- Lady Luck has smiled on a local convenience store and now the owners are finding themselves making history.

Ma and Pa's on South Main Street here hosted a film crew from the History Channel's "Modern Marvels" this weekend. The retailer was contacted a few weeks ago by the show for an episode about the c-store industry, according to a report on WBAY.com.

This store is not new to the spotlight. Ma and Pa's, known in these parts for selling a number of winning lottery tickets worth hundreds of millions of dollars, was previously featured on the TLC channel.

"The TLC channel was here before, too, so we're kind of used to having cameras here quite a bit," Shelly Bach, a store employee, told the news outlet. "It does get to be a lot of fun for our customers, and it's great for the city and great for the store."

Ma and Pa's will reportedly appear in a short segment on the show. No air date has been announced.
