Love's Travel Stops Lays Out Its $230M 2011 Budget

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores recently announced its planned capital expenditures of $230 million for calendar year 2011.

"Love’s is committed to providing the best possible facilities and services that matter to the driving public," Tom Love, Love’s chairman and CEO said in a released statement. "We have listened to customer feedback when designing these improvements, which will make our travel stops more appealing and convenient."

In the announcement, Love's plans to allocate $180 million to new construction, resulting in more than 20 new travel stop locations-- reaching from Napevine, Wash. to Emerson, Ga. -- to be opened by this year. More than $50 million will go towards improving upon existing Love's sites. Improvements include: adding more than 50 Love's Truck Tire Care centers to current locations, parking lot expansions, re-imaging of restaurants and remodeling restrooms, according to the company.

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla. and operates more than 265 locations in 39 states.
