Love's Opens New Locations in Arizona, Washington

NAPAVINE, Wash. and BENSON, Ariz. -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has opened its newest location in Napavine, Wash., on Interstate 5 at Exit 72. According to a FleetOwner report, the new location offers a Carl's Jr. restaurant; 73 truck spaces; DEF dispensers at the diesel islands; CAT scales; five showers; RFID cardless fueling technology; and a Love's truck tire care center located behind the Love's building that will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

"We are committed to providing our customers with the amenities they need and excellent customer service at all of our travel stops," said Greg Love, president of Love's Development Cos. "We are excited to continue our growth throughout the country to better serve our customers."

Another new Love's location is set to open on Oct. 6 in Benson, Ariz., according to a Sierra Vista Herald report. A planned September opening day was pushed back due to continued construction on the property, which was a former Gas City located at 643 S. State Route 90.

"The fully remodeled Benson location will have Subway and Chester's Chicken restaurants, all new restrooms and new fuel pumps," stated Kyla Turner, a spokeswoman for Love's.

The Benson Love's will offer the same amenities to truck drivers as the new Napavine location. In addition to the Gas City location, Love's purchased the Shell gas station and convenience store across the street at 640 S. State Route 90 in a bankruptcy proceeding, according to the report. The Shell station required minimal refurbishing and signage changes before quickly reopening, but the Gas City site required more extensive renovations inside and out.

"The property will have a whole new look once we've completed the remodeling," said Turner. "The Love's [motto] of 'Clean Places, Friendly Faces' fits well here, and we look forward to being a part of the community."
