Love's Chooses Gilbarco Veeder-Root at the Forecourt

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores signed a three-year contract with Gilbarco Veeder-Root to supply Gilbarco forecourt equipment, including Gilbarco fuel dispensers, Veeder-Root tank monitoring systems and Red Jacket submersible turbine pumps. Based in Oklahoma City, Okla., the family-owned company operates more than 260 locations in 39 states and employs 6,700 people.

"Gilbarco Veeder-Root's superior quality, support and service network, made it a logical choice to continue our partnership," said Terry Ross, vice president of construction for Love's, in a released statement.

The decision was based in part on Gilbarco's broad selection of dispensers for truck stops, including the first-of-its-kind Encore S DEF + 1 that provides Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) from one hose and Diesel fuel from another at the same fueling position.
